Housed in a historic textile factory built in 1885, Pocketbook Hudson is a beautiful, newly completed property in Hudson with a communal bathhouse, open-fire restaurant, café and bar, a subterranean nightclub, galleries, and a street-level market Pocketbook Hudson has an extensive, thoughtful and experiential art program and the building itself has a rich history, shaped by the industrial boom and Gilded Age proprietors. Friends and owners, Ray and Kim, took over the 40-year-old Warren Inn Motel, which was first a movie theater from 1928 to 1958, and overdue for another transformation as a collaboration with New York design studio Workstead, brought to life by a local community of craftsmen.
